Our team at KCDI will ensure that you are ready for your journey by providing you information about how to obtain an eVisa and common health protocols. For example, it is recommended for all travelers to take anti-malarial medications, and to consult with their physicians regarding other vaccinations.

  • Registering to one of the KCDI programs involves an application process done directly on the website. Once the application is submitted one of our team members will reach out to you regarding your application within 2 weeks of submission. If you have any questions during the 2 weeks please feel free to fill out the questions form on the contact page and someone will respond back.

  • The trips abroad are led by members of the KCDI team. This includes team members from the United States and team members from affiliated organizations and institutions in Nairobi, Kenya.

  • There is no specific vaccine required to travel to Kenya. However, you should consult with your local travel clinic for the most recent up to date recommendations for Kenya, for example malaria and yellow fever recommendations.

  • Traveling to Kenya is safe. Safety is our number one priority when traveling abroad. Our team and staff members follow the current recommendations and travel advisory guidelines.
